Good evening, I write this post after a heavy and eventful past month has kept me quite pre-occupied. There has been a host of important events happening these days, from as local as our organization structures to a host of other miscellaneous actions around the world. Lets discuss some of these:

1) Keep your eyes peeled down south tonight: This evening, there will be host of elections in the USA. Among the most talked about are the Governor races in New Jersey and Virginia, plus the Mayor's race in New York City. It goes without saying that the USA has been going to hell in a handbasket at record speeds since the current regime was inaugurated 10 months ago, though avenues to stymy the regimes power and halt any extra ruthless laws can be best done via local and state elections before the federal midterms.

I will admit to my own bias, for LGBTQ rights and a better society to take place there are clear candidates to root for, namely Zohran Mamdani for NYC mayor who is running against the Former NY Governor and Trump backed candidate Andrew Cuomo as well as rooting for Abigail Spanberger for Virginia Governor, who is facing off against someone who does not believe that discrimination against gay people is actual discrimination. Needless to say, there are clear and established good vs bad candidates.

2) Nova Scotia's only federal Conservative MP crosses the floor to the Liberals: Take it for what you will, but in the news today is the floor crossing of Nova Scotia's only non-Liberal MP to the Liberal caucus. Chris d'Entremont who to his credit, voted to ban conversion therapy made the announcement today.
